Pyramid Consulting supports Government of India’s National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS)

New Delhi, India, May 15, 2023 – Pyramid Consulting is proud to extend its support to the Government of India’s National Apprenticeship Promotions Scheme (NAPS) through its Service-Delivery Trainee Executive Program (STEP).

NAPS is an initiative by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India to promote apprenticeship and enhance youth employability in the country. It provides financial incentives, technology, and advocacy support to establishments undertaking apprenticeship training.

STEP is the in-house apprenticeship program developed by Pyramid Consulting that focuses on training fresh university graduates. As part of its commitment to this scheme, the company has trained 250 individuals in sales, recruiting, and talent management under this program.

About the STEP Program

Pyramid Consulting’s STEP program was conceptualized in October 2021 to equip individuals with the technical skills and knowledge required to succeed in the rapidly evolving technology and staffing industry. University Hiring, Training/Talent Development, and OJT Operations are the three pillars of the STEP program that have helped the company tap into talent streams like business and hospitality. The company commenced university hiring drives in October 2021 and trained the first batch of STEP trainees in December 2021. In 2022, a total of 11 batches were trained and onboarded under the program.
